for two.
A selection from the oldest Blaufränkisch vines in Deutsch Schützen and Eisenberg, which unmistakably combines the best sides of both locations. Dense ruby red color and intense berry fruit, which is given to the wine by the clayey soil from Deutsch Schützen, a clear structure, underlined by a mineral spice that the Eisenberg contributes, and strong but fine tannins, result in a harmonious, finesse Blaufränkisch.
ORIGIN: The 30-year-old vineyards for this wine
are located in the middle of the Ried “vineyard” in German
Protect. These vines are protected in the north by oak forests, which mitigate extreme temperature fluctuations. Cooling the temperatures in the evening contributes to a strong aroma formation and supports the fruity extracts of the wine. The location is south-east open to the Hungarian Plain, which means direct sunlight throughout the day
is guaranteed and the highest levels of maturity are guaranteed.
The power and the special mineral structure in the wine
The vine comes from the medium-heavy iron-rich clay soil, which meets a layer of green slate rock after a depth of around 3 meters.
VINIFIKATION: Hand picking, 26 days of maceration, spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats, malolactic fermentation, 36 months storage in new 500 l wooden barrels

Ried Fasching was our first single-vineyard wine from Eisenberg from vines over 40 years old. This wine embodies liquid terroir from the Eisenberg. This is how Eisenberg is fun.
Origin: The Ried “Fasching” is a southern slope. This lower location with later morning sun has a slightly cooler microclimate. The rock subsoil is sandy loam (silt), the reed is sandy-gravelly in the northeast and sandy-clayey in the southwest and belongs to the Pannonian sediments (approx. 10 million years old). The local green slate can be found at a depth of approx. 1.5 m.
