ORIGIN: The 30-year-old vineyards for this wine

are located in the middle of the Ried “vineyard” in German

The power and the special mineral structure in the wine

The vine comes from the medium-heavy iron-rich clay soil, which meets a layer of green slate rock after a depth of around 3 meters.

VINIFIKATION: Hand picking, 26 days of maceration, spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats, malolactic fermentation, 36 months storage in new 500 l wooden barrels

Deep dark ruby ​​garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate ocher edge lightening. Delicately floral black cherry fruit, candied violets, attractive bouquet. Juicy, red berry, delicate raspberry flavor, pleasant fruit sweetness, fine tannins, lively texture, salty aftertaste, lingers, promising potential.
